
INTERNATIONAL PARTNERSHIPS & RECOGNITION
Certification through the Professional Ski Instructors of Europe is widely recognised across the globe. While the crossover equivalency process may differ from one national organisation to another, the PSIE has successfully established agreements with key international partners. The spirit of these agreements is to enable instructors certified by recognised organisations to participate in PSIE programs at their existing certification level, and vice versa. CANADA
PROFESSIONAL SKI INSTRUCTORS OF CANADA (PSIC)
We are thrilled to partner with the Professional Ski Instructors of Canada (PSIC) who are allowing us to license their training, education and certification platform. The PSIE is delighted to be able to offer the PSIC's excellent stack of educational materials allowing us to expand the resources and opportunities available to ski professionals.

This partnership provides unprecedented dual certification across Canada! PSIE Level 1, 2 and 3 certifications automatically trigger certification with the Professional Ski Instructors of Canada. This recognition opens doors for work and training opportunities across key Canadian resorts.

JAPAN
The PSIE & PSIC have courses of all levels running in various resorts across Japan and members working in multiple ski schools. Check out the course schedule to see all courses taking place in 2025/26.

china
The PSIE is fully recognised in all ski schools and ski areas in China. We have direct work opportunities with some of our partners in these regions for those who would be interested in a unique seasonal experience. Both the PSIE and PSIC deliver courses in China.

AUSTRALIA
The PSIE has direct contact and work placement opportunities with Australian resorts. Additionally, PSIE certification can be used seamlessly to enter Australian Professional Snowsport Instructors (APSI) courses at equivalent.

NEW ZEALAND
The PSIE has direct contact and work placement opportunities with many New Zealand resorts. The PSIE has also partnered with Rookie Academy to offer PSIE courses in southern hemisphere winter. Additionally, PSIE certification can be used seamlessly to enter New Zealand Snowsports Instructors Alliance (NZSIA) courses at equivalent.

Ireland

The Snowsports Association of Ireland (SAI) recognises the Professional Ski Instructors of Europe's (PSIE) ski instructor and coaching qualifications pathway and we are developing our collaborative partnership with some exciting initiatives being developed for Irish Alpine skiing athletes. These programmes will be in place in the run up to the 2025/26 winter season.

ITALY
AOSTA REGION
The Aosta Valley Regional government recognises PSIE and PSIC Level 2 and above for temporary work with ski schools in region. This includes resorts like Courmayeur, Pila, La Thuile, Gressoney, Cervinia etc. Interski (Inter School Travel Ltd.) have already had PSIE/C member's dossiers approved and employed them. ESTONIA
The PSIE and the Estonian Ski & Snowboard Instructors Association (ESSIA) mutually recognise each others qualifications. ESSIA certification can be used seamlessly to enter the PSIE certification pathway at equivalent. Furthermore, the ESSIA leadership have successfully completed the PSIE Licensed Professional Trainer (LPT) certification meaning they are familiar with the PSIE/C methodology and can prepare any of their members who wish to pursue PSIE certifications.

FINLAND
PSIE & PSIC certifications are recognised throughout Finland's ski areas. PSIE & PSIC members who are interested in working in Finland should contact us for further information about recognition.
