Who is it for?

  • The Level 2 Conversion Course is for Level 2 ski instructors from any recognised association/organisation e.g., BASI, IASI, APSI, NZSIA, PSIA etc. â€‹

  • The course is for those instructors who want to gain a PSIE/C certification in addition to the qualification they already hold. 

​

  • It is for instructors who are open to challenging themselves and their existing knowledge, who are curious, willing to experiment, and who want to develop their teaching craft.

Dates & fees

For the 2026/27 season the L2 conversion will take place in Cervinia, Italy, and Les Contamines, France. 

​

The dates are as follows:

  • 12th & 13th December 2026 - Cervinia

  • 13th & 14th March 2027 - Les Contamines

​​

The 2-day course costs: €250

​

In addition, you will need to join the PSIE prior to registering onto the course. Course registration is required in order to access the online eLearning, the members resource hub, and member's App.

FAQ's

Q. Are the 2-days an assessment?

A. The 2-days are continual training and evaluation. At the PSIE we believe in an education first approach with evaluation being continual and students given many opportunities to meet the learning outcomes. 

​

Q. Do I have to be a member of the PSIE to take the conversion course?

A. Yes. Membership options include 1, 3 and 5 years. 

​
