HELEN TRAYFOOT

Dévouement. Compétence. Passion.

Helen Trayfoot

Helen Trayfoot has worked as a trainer/educator/tutor for national snowsport organisations over the past 20 years, writing a booklet on Teaching children to ski, and writing and running 'teaching children' workshops as well as training and assessing ski teachers to the highest level both in teaching and performance skiing . During this time she also had the opportunity to work with, and shadow, other ski nations looking at how they work and develop skiers at all levels.

Her time in Smugglers notch Vermont, USA was particularly instrumental in her own personal development within the snowsports industry. Now based out of Chatel in the Portes du Soleil, working independently, and as a coach with Ski Academy Chatel Helen coaches the 3 to 4 year olds and the 5 to 7 year olds every weekend and holidays.

"I feel very honoured to be working with the local children and local ski coaches". Our philosophy is to encourage our skiers to ski freely across the whole mountain, to learn through play and experience and to carry the joy of the mountains through their turns, their experiences, and the friendships they make, whilst keeping them safe not only with good technique but also an understanding of their environment .
